The Pigeon River, located in the heart of the beautiful Smoky Mountains, provides 12 miles of breathtaking scenery and heart-stopping thrills! You can be assured of an exciting adventure! All trips include an experienced guide to keep your adventure safe and enjoyable. Just bring a change of clothes and get ready to get wet!

The 6.5 mile Upper Section is an exciting 2 hour trip down class 3 and 4 rapids. Our certified Guides will navigate your boat the entire trip. Big waves, big drops and plenty of surfing for inexperienced and experienced paddlers alike. (Must be at least 8 years old or 70 lbs).

The 5.5 mile Scenic Lower Section is a much calmer guided trip where you can take in the beauty of the mountains and is perfect for the little kids. You will run about 50 class 1 and 2 rapids with one class 3 at the end. (Must be at least 3 years old and accompanied by an adult.)

Funyaks, the latest boats offered on the Pigeon River, are designed to be super stable. Perfect for fun-lovers of all ages - skilled, novice or non-boaters - ideal for mom, dad and the kids. You're taught different ways to play in the rapids and all trips are expertly guided as you drive your own boat. Give it a try!
