Hollywood Star Cars Museum (Header Background) | Gatlinburg Attractions

Discover the most famous cars from TV shows and Movies!

Located in the Heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee and surrounded by Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Hollywood Star Cars Museum first opened in 1996 featuring a collection of Television, Movie, and Celebrity owned vehicles.  Presently the museum houses 45 vehicles from favorite movies, TV shows, and entertainment icons.

Many of the cars are the creations of George Barris, known throughout the world as the “King of Kustomizers”. His creations are legendary in the world of television and motion pictures including the likes of the original television series Batmobile, Munster’s, Beverly Hillbillies, and more. His most famous creation is the 1966 TV Show Batmobile is on display at the Hollywood Star Cars Museum along with some of his other memorable creations, such as The Flintstones, Ghostbusters Ecto-1, The Munsters Drag-u-la and Barris’ 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder from the James Dean Movie Live Fast, Die Young.

From the beginning, Hollywood Star Cars have tried to keep the guest in mind.  Not only do we display the car, but we are also constantly on the lookout for display props and/or movie memorabilia to enhance the presentation.  Souvenir photos are available for purchase for most of the collection.  Guests are allowed to take as many of their own photographs right beside all the cars.

Our exhibits range from such blockbuster hit movies as Batman Returns, The Avengers, Gone in 60 Seconds, Transformers Bumblebee, to some of TV’s most memorable shows: NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, The Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith & The Munsters. The collection is also home to personal vehicles owned by entertainment icons Elvis Presley, the Beach Boys, Bob Hope, Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson & Sir Paul McCartney. One of the most popular is the Hollywood Star Cars Fast and Furious Collection, featuring several memorable cars from the movie series.
